Looking Forward — Claudia Guadagne

Looking Forward With Gratitude to Claudia Guadagne

As part of FMG’s evolution and ownership transition plan, Claudia Guadagne has decided to shift her role from CEO to that of a strategic advisor to the firm. As part of this planned transition, Charissa Frank will assume the dual role of President and CEO. Claudia will continue her involvement on key projects during the transition. “Claudia has contributed so much to FMG Architects over her 31 years” stated Charissa Frank. “In addition to being a respected client leader, Claudia has inspired many others at our firm to improve the environment through design excellence. Her work in the transportation sector has contributed greatly to regions throughout California. Claudia is leaving the firm in a strong position, and we wish her ongoing success.”

In addition to mentoring others within the firm, Claudia collaborated on many award-winning projects including the Warm Springs South Fremont BART Station (California Transportation Foundation’s 2017 Project of the Year) and SFO’s Long Term Parking Garage No. 2 (ENR California 2019 Best Projects and IES Illumination Award in the Energy and Environmental Design category). “I am grateful for the tremendous opportunities the firm and our clients provided” said Claudia Guadagne. “Being part of FMG Architects has been a privilege and an incredible platform from which to contribute to improving the quality of our communities and the built environment. I look forward to hearing great things as Charissa and her team at FMG Architects continues to shape the future of California transportation.”
