With our deep knowledge of transportation projects in California, FMG has the resources and best practices to support all areas of design review, technical support, and quality assurance. We can effectively and efficiently respond to work assignments and can be a trusted partner to ensure successful project outcomes. The FMG team’s broad experience includes peer review of transit systems, understanding of FTA processes, procedures, and guidelines, constructability planning, and design-build oversight.

Our Beginnings

Initially founded as Finger & Moy Architects in 1981 by Ron Finger and Stan Moy, FMG Architects has provided architectural services throughout California for over 40 years. Some of our early projects include the historic San Francisco City Hall renovation and the BART to SFO Extension.

Our Firm

Our growing staff of 20 includes registered architects and engineers. Notable projects include BART to Silicon Valley Phase II, LA Metro’s Sepulveda Transit Corridor, the completed BART Warm Springs/South Fremont Station, and the new Long-Term Parking Garage No. 2 at SFO. We have offices in Oakland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. FMG is a small, minority, and woman-owned business.
