FMG is the local design architect for Diridon Station on the BART to Silicon Valley, Phase II (BSVII) General Engineering Contract. The new station will be centered in a growing area with active public transportation and recreation destinations. The underground Diridon BART Station’s boarding platforms are planned for several stories below street level. A light-filled above-grade station entry leads into well-lit spaces for pedestrian passage to and from the trains. The station lobby’s elegant, circular design allows for free movement, providing visual continuity for a safe and enjoyable passenger experience. Modern and durable materials will support the station for many future generations to enjoy and use.
