Under an On-Call contract with the Port of San Francisco, FMG partnered with a historic architect to design improvements for the Roundhouse 2 building—a four-story, partially occupied historic office structure with ongoing waterproofing issues. The design focuses on revitalizing the building by addressing its physical deterioration, correcting long-standing deficiencies, and enhancing its leasing potential. FMG is leading the task order, providing both design and construction-phase support. Now nearing completion, the project scope includes replacing the roofing, adding a roof over the buildings rooftop Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing enclosure, replacing windows to mitigate water intrusion, and rebuilding the building’s solarium.
